As of February 1, 2025, Google Play will no longer offer Play Gift Cards and Gift Card-funded Play Balance to users in Singapore. Any Play Gift Cards and Gift Card-funded Play Balance you have remaining will expire on January 31, 2025 and will no longer be usable after that date. If you have unredeemed Gift Cards, you will need to first redeem them to your Play Balance and spend such Play Balance by that date to avoid losing the value of your Gift Card.

Where you can spend your Play Balance

If your remaining Play Balance doesn't cover the full cost of an item selected in the Google Play Store, you can combine it with other payment methods, such as a credit or debit card or PayPal. If you have only Play Balance set up as a form of payment, you can add a credit or debit card or other form of payment to your Google Account.

This serves to amend, and shall supersede, section 3 of the Google Play Gift Card Singapore Terms of Service between you and Google Payment Singapore Pte. Ltd. (GPSG), pursuant to GPSG's right to change the Google Play Gift Card Singapore Terms of Service under section 7 of such terms.
