Hard to stay focused on the frequency scanning with the ads for game apps popping up on the average of every 40 seconds. You can't exit the ads, have to let them through unless you exit the app itself. I understand the ads are the paying sponsor but what's the purpose if you annoy people to the point of "Delete". Who sees the ads then? Wouldn't even let me listen long enough to evaluate whether it was worth the.. Ad free fee or not. I deleted.

From the best I can tell, this app is playing a bunch of pre-recorded nonsense, pretending to scan through static, and playing voices/speech in reverse and forwards randomly. There's far too much music in large chunks and speech trying to be creepy. As others state, there are a LOT of ads which costs $3 to remove. I just don't see the point in spending $3 on a simulated radio emulator to end interrupting ads to play with an interrupted fake radio.

This spirit box works really well. I talked to my dead dad! it said the nickname he had for me (Addi bug) and his full name he also said he was watching over me and protecting me. I cried a lot lol... if you put your phone on airplane mode the ads don't play but the app still works. I'm very happy with the app. but do be aware that it does go through different radio frequencys so you will hear music sometimes but that does not mean it's fake. Hope this helps ❤️
