About this game

Five years ago, Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas, a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.

Now, it’s the early 90’s. Carl’s got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.

On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

Rockstar Games brings its biggest release to mobile yet with a vast open-world covering the state of San Andreas and its three major cities – Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas – with enhanced visual fidelity and over 70 hours of gameplay.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas features:
• Remastered, high-resolution graphics built specifically for mobile including lighting enhancements, an enriched color palette and improved character models.
• Cloud save support for playing across all your mobile devices for Rockstar Social Club Members.
• Dual analog stick controls for full camera and movement control.
• Three different control schemes and customizable controls with contextual options to display buttons only when you need them.
• Compatible with the MoGa Wireless Game Controllers and select Bluetooth and USB gamepads.
• Integrated with Immersion tactile effects.
• Tailor your visual experience with adjustable graphic settings.

Seems like it's been polished a bit! Graphics are better. I can disable frame limiter which greatly boosted visuals and game smoothness. I can finally log in to my Rockstar account, although auto saves and diskette saves are touchy... Don't seem to save sometimes. I always save 2 more times after auto saves but in different save slots in case. Still not a fan of the controls... Even with adjusting, the aiming, shooting, running is too much for mobile. Random squatting, camera looks back, etc...

This game is simply unplayble. Missions in this are so much harder on the phone and it's really really bad. Some missions are nearly or are impossible because controls are really really bad. Like shooting or driving. It's a still a good game but only if you free roam that is. Missions are not worth it. And why can't we have cheats like you have on PC & console? This is a paid game! 2/5

The game runs well with minimal issues and is very crisp on a modern device, but that should be expected for a game this old. Everything you remember about this game, if you played it, is here for better or worse, and it did not age very well for obvious technical reasons. The touch screen controls function well enough, but you will really want a controller later on since intense fights or racing will want you to ninja star your phone into the drywall out of blind rage and frustration.
