The app was updated a couple of weeks ago and I have to conclude the update didn't really make the app better. Starting the app takes forever since the update. The user interface is a lot less intuitive than before the update. All the data users have put in this app is of course still there, it's just more difficult and time consuming to find what you're looking for. I would vote to roll back to the previous version.

It's a disgrace. The app is almost unusable since the new version upgrade. Using wikicamps for 9 years, and the latest upgrade makes it almost impossible to use without Internet connection. Which is a joke if you are traveling through Australia with lots of areas with no reception. Getting logged out on a regular basis, login not possible without signal. Can't highlight favourites in the offline mode and no longer possible to prepare reviews in offline mode, just to mention a few.

I didn't want to update but using WiFi this morning has done it. Wikicamps is now dead to me. The new upgrade lacks all the features I use regularly and won't work offline unless you have a crystal ball and switch to offline mode when you still have a signal. It's also ludicrously slow to load with frequent error messages. Site features are no longer colour coded and in 6 different categories, making filtering difficult. Some muppet decided it would be a good idea to remove the 4WD only filter.
