Works ok for navigation. Sucks for entering passwords. Special characters are not always sent to the TV. "|" (pipe) for example. Entering passwords is 90% of why I need this app. (10% is because I can't find the remote). When I mistype a character and user backspace, that's like hitting the back button and then I'm screwed and have to start from scratch, 18 characters in to a 20 character password.

Worst application in the app store or Android market. Seriously. If you minimize it and come back to it, it stops responding. Sometimes you'll wait several minutes and close it out several times to get it to respond again. Worst application every created. I can't explain how much I hate it without using lots of profanity. Edit: 7 years later it's just as bad and even more frustrating. The fire stick itself is TRASH.

Great when it works! Unfortunately, it randomly refuses to connect to my TV, which is super frustrating. I'm not sure what triggers it, as it can change connection status from one moment to the next. Right now for example: the wifi is strong enough to stream whatever is on TV, and I used the app to turn a show on, but 30 minutes later when I want to pause or turn off the TV, it won't connect to my device... #annoying
