About this app

Everything about iOS is designed to be easy. That includes switching to it. With just a few steps, you can migrate your content automatically and securely from your Android device with the Move to iOS app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before switching from Android. The Move to iOS app securely transfers all kinds of content data for you:

Contacts
Message history
Camera photos and videos
Mail accounts
Calendars
WhatsApp content

Make sure to keep your devices nearby and connected to power until the transfer is complete. When you choose to migrate your data, your new iPhone or iPad will create a private Wi-Fi network and find your nearby Android device running Move to iOS. After you enter a security code, it will begin transferring your content and put it in the right places. Just like that. Once your content has been transferred, you’re ready to get going. That’s it — you can start using your new iPhone or iPad and experiencing its endless possibilities. Enjoy.

I too had a lot of trouble with this App. It just wouldn't connect even after applying all the "solutions" as suggested in the Apple help system. Until I found a setting named "private DNS". It was on automatic and after I switched it off the two phones connected and files were transferred to the iPhone. All photo's it could find are now in the Photos app. Even all the images it could find of music albums on the Android phone. I'm not happy with that. The app is a complete failure as it does not migrate your What'sApp history which is the only data that you can not migrate manually. Save time and skip this app.

Well, it mostly worked compared to other people! I went from Huawei P30 to iPhone 15. Positive: + It worked Negative: - Not all apps were transferred (even the ones that are also available in the App store) - The transfertime indication is not accurate. (It would last 35min, but the last "5min" took 1 hour!) - You still have to login in every app (maybe beyond expectation, but hey, if you stay on android, u would have a different experience)

Horrible app, it's takes so slow to transfer data to iPhone. Currently had a Samsung for over 2 years decided to switch to iPhone, the phone itself isn't bad but the app is horrible, so far I've been waiting for 7 hours for it transfer my data and I'm on 1 minute more like an extra 7 hours, Not only that it is extremely laggy to enter the pin code in! Do better honestly wish I could give it 0
