The reading and language stimulation program Word Key teaches the basic aspects of reading and literacy. The word key is useful for all children to learn to read and understand Icelandic, immigrant Icelanders with foreign origins, Icelandic children living abroad and anyone else who wants to learn our beloved and warm language. It is an interactive teaching solution that promotes early intervention, language stimulation and literacy.

Mussila makes use of the core solutions of the Icelandic language technology program in the development of Orðarlykil. The authors of the Word Key are the speech pathologists Ásthildur Bj. Snorradóttir and Bjartey Sigurðardóttir together with Mussila ehf.

The Mussila team has won numerous international awards for its education solutions, most recently the Bett Award in London for Best Global Education Solution.

The word key is available on all major smart devices, both for use at home and in schools in the country, free of charge.
