The ads have become so frustrating recently. The devs insist the ads only open before or after a game. But I get an ad almost every time I reopen the app to continue my game, which is certainly disruptive if I'm on the go and want to open the app and make a quick move. Ads can only be skipped after a button appears in 10-15 seconds, which is actually A LOT of time. I'm tired of tolerating these pushy, mind-numbing ads. You can pay to remove ads for $5, but you get no extra features.

We're sorry for your ad experience. Popup ad appears before/after a game or on reopening the app so that it doesn't disrupt play. It is skippable after 5-10 seconds with fast forward/X/Close which is very short compared to a game but unfortunately can't suit all play patterns. Ads let us give our apps away for free. Paid version has no ads.

It's very absorbing, and engaging when you're playing, literally like a live game when playing against the PC. You can also play against real players, it is optional. It's one of the better chess games, out here, in these Apps Streets! Drawback, if you quit (choosing resign/draw match) in the middle of a game, they consider it a 100% and 50% lost (on this, check the game status). This is a bit much for resigning, draw is ok with 50% lost, but resigning, they should just void that game. ✌🏾🤭

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you're enjoying the app! For options when quitting an offline match against the computer, please use your device "back" button and choose from pause, resign, draw and abandon match. Players can also abandon online games rather than just leaving them hanging.

Although this is one of my fav chess games to play, I will say that the difficulty is extremely inconsistent. My opponent on the same level will go from just straight up royal suicide to playing some of the hardest games I've faced. They'd go from high level strategies where I can see they're thinking 3+ moves ahead, to just putting their queen in the line of sight for a pawn to take...

Thank you for your input. Levels are calibrated against each other and other chess apps for a pretty uniform Elo distribution, with a more human style of weakening than most other chess engines, but people may find weaknesses that the cpu cannot easily respond to and may also find some cpu styles and strategies easier than others.
