This app is for Go players of any level, from beginner to professional.
Learn the rules of the ancient board game Go (囲碁) - also known as Baduk (바둑) or Weiqi (圍棋) - with a fun, interactive tutorial. The new UI is NOT an improvement! The first screen (lessons/problems) is a useless extra click for 99.9% of the users. The "play again" screen is just as useless: playing the same level again still takes one click, but switching levels takes THREE now. I like to switch levels a lot; start low, go up a level when I have perfect score, go down a level when I make a mistake. That doesn't go very smoothly now. Nice collection of problems.

It needs a lot of improvements. I want to play online, and I put it on automatic match. It put me against a 5d even though I'm just 8k. In order to place a stone, we must click on the place where we want the stone and then click confirm or place a stone by zooming in. There's no option to place a stone with one click. It's not possible to save my games into sgf.

Hi! To place a stone with only one click, you can go to Account->Settings and disable the "Confirm Moves" option. To save an SGF, go to the Study->Games screen and tap the SGF button. I'm not sure what happened with automatch but it might have been due to uncertainty in your rating. Ratings get higher matching accuracy after a few games.

Edited: it ends up there is no bug but my mistake. The support team respond to my problem pretty fast (within 15 mins), and is currently investigating my issue. For unknown reasons the puzzles I unlocked with study keys do not go into permanent collection anymore after I unlocked around 18 puzzles. So I wasted my study keys on puzzles that I cannot go back to review in future. Otherwise, the lessons are a good start for go beginner, and you have variety of different levels of AI to practice.
