Put a pick up order for my local Jersey Mikes. Or so I thought. For some reason doordash didn't choose the location closest to me and had me traveling an extra 30 minutes for my food. I understand as a consumer I should make sure the addresses are correct, yet at the same time I wouldn't expect an intuitive app to allow me to travel 25+ minutes when there was a much faster alternative. At this point I'm fed up with doordash and am looking into canceling my dash pass. 0 stars if I could.

Everyone knows doordash. They are the go to app for food delivery. This makes the fact that the menus are clunky, frustrating, and seemingly designed by children very confusing. Just barely works good enough to function MOST of the time. You would think that a company that charges essentially a 70% fee would have enough resources to make their app better. 2 stars, because hey, it at least works sometimes.

The app is really responsive and quick, it seems well built from the back end. But I think the interface is a bloated mess of icons and ads that get in the way of me finding what I want more than they help. The process is really opaque, making it hard to know what I'm getting into before I pay. My delivery time kept getting pushed back past the original estimate but it still said it was arriving on time by the new estimate. Not usable at all in my area, just wastes time and money for everyone.
