A simple and secure PDF reader. Does it's job well. Has basic functionality. If you need advanced functions, however, this app is not enough. But it still is a nice one to have in the metaphorical back pocket

Simple, effective, does what I need. The navigation (changing between pages, zooming, how to open a file in the first place) is not exactly intuitive, but I got used to it quick, still, it would be amazing to be able to swipe between pages, or have the pages scrollable. I really like that I can easily see a PDFs metadata with this app.

According to the Play Store, you're on the previous version 19 rather than the current version 20 with major improvements to the zoom gesture. You should update. Further improvements have been made to zooming for the upcoming version 21 release. We're working on adding an initial way to navigate between pages without the next/previous buttons.

I think the app is very useful but I miss two options: 1) Swipe pages. 2) Reader mode. Nice that the first one is being implemented. The reader mode is an option to reflow the pages as reading a Book. You could get some ideas from Adobe, they call it Liquid. Any PDF will be transformed into a kind of eBook. Easier to read from small devices.

Swiping pages is in the process of being implemented along with better zoom. Can you explain what kind of reader mode you want?

What's new

Notable changes in version 20:

• improve app compatibility by trying to load data with no MIME type passed
• improve zoom gesture by scrolling during zooming to keep focus in the same place instead of the top left corner
• hide text layer during scaling to avoid scrollable blank space when zooming out
• update dependencies
• update target SDK to 35 (Android 15)
• enable generation of v4 APK signatures
