The app itself does teaches you how to play the game and simple steps and actually lets you do two practice games to show what you learn. This was actually helpful to play the card game with my friends in real life. The only thing i wish is that the app had more stuff to do. Collecting cards, making decks, battling friends or other people, ect. I think it would be really fun to do.

The 3 tutorials are helpful to explain the game. The 2 practice decks, however, contain numerous errors (Retaliation does nothing, WereGarurumon has received an errata that changes the card so MetalGarurumon can't attack multiple times, etc.). It has numerous bugs too (game can freeze on an unusable effect, you can never attack suspended Digimon directly and only security, etc.). Text moves too fast too. It's a pretty terrible card game tutorial considering it doesn't even follow its own rules.

Good but buggy. Tone down the difficulty!! Couple glitches like it will activate effects but no way to resolve them or cancel. Like to reduce a digivolution but there are no cards that digivolved on the field. It just freezes unable to cancel out. A bunch of visual artifacts that can get in the way on the edges of the screen. Sometimes the cards won't register when you try to place them so you can drag them onto the field but it just return to the hand. Not bad if you have 4 or less cards.
