Setup was confusing. App won't let you organize the slideshow order manually, which is very important for me as i upload many photos from different dates. App tries to show you a preview of what picture is currently presented, but is slow to update, so it shows the wrong photo. I had to resize ALL portrait photos to get the right crop, as the app defaults to a weird "fill", which is only done through the phone app, as the web version has limited capability. Organization is just trash.

Bought Aura frames for both sets of grandparents for Christmas. It's very easy to install the app and set up frames. You do need to be able to access wifi at the frame's location. Once set up it's easy to send photos and short vids to each frame. I placed the frame near the tv or their favorite seat so it's easy to view. You can set up on-off schedule. Good for mental and visual stimulation.

While the product is nice, there are improvements that would make using this application better, especially for seniors. First, make it clearer in which section you are between activity feed, photos, and adding new photos. After any action, make it easier to understand that something happened. Make browsing your device photos easier by adding more filters (for example by date), as well as more zoom options. And finally, prevent losing a selection of pictures easily after an accidental tap.
