was WAY WAY WAY better when you could pay the monthly & download stuff to your device to read whenever - now it's as bad as audible cuz you can't download to device, have to use compatible reader/app AND you can't even read things you've previously saved unless you've paid. THE ONE NICE THING is that the $12.99 covers both scribd & everand, & if you're logged into scribd when you open everand it will log you in automatically.

I lost my membership and all saved lists. Their customer service treats you like a novice computer user. I changed my premium membership from monthly to yearly and they are saying you have 30 days free trial! I also lost all of my saved lists. They punished me for being a loyal member for the last 7 years. Didn't expect this from Scribd. Don't trust them for a yearly membership, I was doing fine on monthly membership but since I switched to a yearly one, I encountered all these issues.

Same as Laura said. Changing the subscription method is a horrible idea! It is the only reason I came to the platform over the others. I've been here for years! Seems like you all got a new product officer or something and simply went the pure profit route. Don't be like the others. Be uniquely different with your offerings. I promise you will lose customers. Me included soon. Listen to your user base. No customer at all endorses that move, whatsoever. Get it together over there!!
