As others described, cropping and curled negatives are a difficult to manage - a 2nd pass in an editor to crop, color. Worst part is mobile - PC interface. Many times shots show on mobile, but desktop msg is "no photos available". I gave this a 50 strip test - just to glitchy to do more. I can almost live with low quality photos, but the time it takes to redo and keep track is a deal-buster for me.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Try to hold the negative 2 inches (5 cm) away from the computer screen in order not to have the image pixelated. The camera needs to see the side holes to crop properly. Please try again and let us know how it goes.

Great app. Works well to pull pictures off negatives. It would be good to be able to zoom in. My camera seemed confused by which lense to use and there were no options for controlling that in the app. Also the auto crop was sometimes way off and I had to correct the cropping for 75-80% of the pictures. So it would be nice to be able to turn that off as an option.

Thank you for reaching out. There is an option within the app to crop your scans manually. Click on the cropping icon on the bottom of the screen - second icon from the left. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to [email protected] and we'll gladly assist.

1. It crops wildly. Why do software companies pad their apps with incomplete or marginally working features? 2. Can't scan so the image fills the frame. It fills less than a quarter of the available space with the negative. 3. Not all negatives are straight strips. Many came off rolls, so they are curled. No guidance on scanning curled negatives. 4. I got more help from reading negative reviews than the faqs. 5. Picture quality is poor. 6. Don't waste your time. 7. Deleting this app
