I like Genius as a platform, but I think the Android app is very buggy. It regularly freezes while performing normal tasks, like viewing an annotation and returning back to the lyrics, or it just doesn't load in the page content at all, even though my internet connection is fine. I also don't like that the app has way less functionality than the desktop web version, especially for people that transcribe and annotate. Opening a notification from an email link is not possible for instance.

Good app, though I personally prefer the website version cause it let's me do things easier(also if someone knows, how can I edit an artist profile, cause I listen to a unknown artist and I don't like when things look plain and it bugs me that their profile is just the default pfp and banner)

Been using the website for a while so I was surprised when I saw an app for it. The reviews were great, but one thing I am annoyed with is the "sign up". I'm stuck, I can't create a username befitting the app. At first it says that it can only contain some certain characters, then after recreating the username it says it must look like an email? The username? After changing it for a while it ends with "OOPS SOMETHING IS WRONG". So I just skipped the sign up.
