The app is a good innovation and working great š. A situation where one book two different ride at the same time, and the application closed, one can't edit the incoming ride details like cancel, location update until the driver arrived. A case where the 2nd incoming taxi has mechanical fault and the app close and reopen, one has no way to edit such ride details. It occurred to me twice already

On the first day I used the app, after I got into the taxi the driver told me the app was broken and I had to get out of the taxi and rebook. I got charged for a cancellation fee. The next driver lied about the charge and it included the invalid cancellation fee from before (he lied to me and said "you can see the charge in front of you" and "it is expensive at peak time"). I have yet to get a refund and there is no way to put a bad comment about bad drivers. This is theft and they don't care!

I had a really embarrassing experience due to a bug in this app. After finishing my Careem bike ride, the QR code scanner stayed active without me realizing it. When I finally unlocked my phone in an elevator, I discovered that the scanner was still running, and the flash was on. To make it worse, my phone was pointed down toward a womanās feet.
