Used this app for some years. Works, but the new data policy is a deal breaker. They give an option to object for such a long list of partners that it's not really an option to go through them at all. Unless a proper 'object all' (or better even, default off) option becomes available I'm not using this service any longer. Uninstalled *In reply to the lousy response. It's not the ads that are annoying. It is your fake (as in not workable) option of opting out of data aggregation.

advertisement can be annoying. Therefore, we offer Windfinder as well ad-free (the ad-free in-app-purchase). With the Windfinder Plus subscription Windfinder comes not only ad-free, also other helpful features are unlocked like wind alerts, advanced maps and webcams. All the info is wrong. Whatever was I thinking this site is run by someone on the other side of the world. I did get a response and they truly tried to help that's why I upgraded to two Stars. I was told to compare two pages and make a decision?. That is not what I paid for. My expectations. Open the page see the wave and wind status that's it then make my decision to go out or not.

Hello VR RV, comparing the Forecast and Superforecast is mostly helpful. When both models predict similar weather, the probability of occurrence is highest. We receive the data for some numerical models from NOAA. If there are ongoing inaccuracies for your region, please let our support know ([email protected]).

Good app but the lack of dark mode these days is surprising. If you have any need to preserve your night vision (eg: on a boat or simply to maintain healthy sleep, as widely reported eg: Prof. Huberman's YT channel) then a BRIGHT WHITE SCREEN is the last thing you want to see at night when you are checking the forecast for the next day.

Hello Markus, dark mode is in the making. We already have several designs for a dark mode. Unfortunately, our current color palette (including color bars for wind forces, etc.) makes a dark mode somewhat difficult.
Since we want to do it right and not just release something, it will take longer than we would like. Sry
