About this app

The History of Everything is a vertical timeline that allows you to navigate, explore, and compare events from the Big Bang to the birth of the Internet. Events are beautifully illustrated and animated.

The concept for this app was inspired by the Kurzgesagt video, Time: The History & Future of Everything.

The app is open source!

The scrolling is kind of glitchy. Sometimes you tap on an event and it sends you back up to the last one you saw. Sometimes when scrolling (especially with the modern history section) it just won't display any events. Also there's a lot missing. This app has a grand idea, and I really like it, but I read everything in like two hours. The writing isn't spectacular either, and could use more specific scientific and historical claims. You guys should have a summary and then an in-depth explanation.

Great app. Perfect for finding important events in history. Just wish it had era names in the top-right corner (Middle Ages, Neolithic Era, etc.), and it only has a few historical entries. No french revolution, Chinese inventions or dynasties, etc. And, I would like to be able to see only 1 Country or continent's timeline, instead of it all being joined together. Overall, it's great, but it could be better.

I really love the app. It does what it says with beautiful animations. Currently I'm on the Humans section in the second chapter 'Life On Earth'. I want more apps like this from the devs. I like that every topic section provides just enough details about it but some of the topics had very little information. One thing which really annoys me is the inability to select a word to copy or open in WordWeb. Please make another app like this.
