UPDATE: 3 whole years later the performance of the app is somehow worse. Incredibly, frustrating to have streams constantly cut out, or even worse, not load AT ALL. I cannot get over how this app is still commerical, what an embarrassment. All I want to do is watch some GAA... The worst: buggiest and slowest app experience I've ever had. This app is trash

Impressively bad. Always a problem. It took me 1 hour and half to watch the first half of a match with the multiple buffering, ad breaks, crashes etc. The it stopped entirely before the second half. Ive tried a few times since last night to finish the game but it cant get past the ads. Never have any problems with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Channel 4. Licence fee payer money behind it and its unusuable. It's a national embarrassment.

2025 update to 2023 review: It's still shite. No idea how it has a 4.1 rating when there's so many poor reviews. Original review: The worst streaming platform I have ever had the misfortune to use. Crashes constantly. Huge amount of ads, all of which play fine, then the content you want to watch won't play properly, the app crashes, you restart it and have to watch all the ads again. And then the Smart TV App doesn't even have live TV. An absolute joke.
