Unreliable app. Sometimes, it works properly. Other times, it does not. For example, sometimes a shortcut remote pops in my drop-down menu; most of the time this is not the case. I find this very frustrating. The aspect ratio is off, meaning some of the buttons are cut off or hidden entirely. My phone screen is a very standard size.

Great when it works! Unfortunately, it randomly refuses to connect to my TV, which is super frustrating. I'm not sure what triggers it, as it can change connection status from one moment to the next. Right now for example: the wifi is strong enough to stream whatever is on TV, and I used the app to turn a show on, but 30 minutes later when I want to pause or turn off the TV, it won't connect to my device... #annoying

It works great, when it works. However, when it doesn't work, it is USELESS. It has cool shortcuts to different Fire apps and it's nice not to have to scroll through forever when you're trying to get to a specific app, but if there's even mild connection problems, you may as well just chuck your phone into the toilet if you want to use it as a remote. I have had to fully restart my phone to get the remote to connect to my firestick before. But like I said, if your wifi is good, it works great.
