The game is as fun as the board version and you can spend many hours enjoying it. As already mentioned on other reviews the rules were adapted and the character skills are also different from the original. Extra characters can be bought separately but apparently it doesn't change the experience at all. it's important to notice that is a single player game.

There is $20 of DLC, which consists of 8 characters. They give four characters for free, and one for signing up for an account. The DLC characters do not seem necessary, but it is a very steep pay wall. It's $2.99 per character or a bundle of two for $4.99. Total cost is $25 for the game and DLC. Base game is good, but hiding content behind a steep pay wall in game feels scummy. I have all the other Asmodee games and most DLC but this is the first where the cost doesn't really match the content.

Good, fun adaption of the boardgame. Negatives are it's too easy and doesn't have difficulty settings. There was only one level where I was forced to tactically bunker down into a choke and wait it out. it would also be good to be able to check upgrades and upgrade weapons and characters on the same screen. Currently theres some flipping back and forth to figureout optimum builds. Something like an Endless Hordes mode would spice things up too.
