In The Big Toy App you will find videos, pictures, quizzes and facts about all products in The Big Toy Book from bol.com. Discover everything about your favorite toys: open the camera in the app, scan the picture in the Toy Book, and put your favorite toys on your wish list.
Bring toys to life
Scan toys in the Toy Book and bring them to life with Augmented Reality. This way you can view it from all sides. As if you already have it!
Open the world of your favorite toys
Place your favorite toys on the home screen of the Toy App. This way you can see everything about your favorite toys!
This is how it works:
1. Download The Big Toy App.
2. Scan a picture in The Big Toy Book with the scanner in the app.
3. Discover everything about this toy (such as images, videos, quiz, and facts).
4. Return to The Big Toy Book each time to scan a new picture.
5. Explore all the buttons in the app, view your favorite toys in the special feed, and discover much more fun.
6. And: send your wish list with all your favorite toys to Santa!
For parents: receive your child's gift preferences
Give Santa a helping hand and gain insight into what your child likes most. Have your child fill the wish list poster by scanning toys. Finished? Then it will be sent to Santa in no time. And when you log in to the app with your bol.com account and give permission, you will gain insight into your child's wish list in The Big Toy App. Handy, right?

Horrible app. Counterintuitive, illogical, and simply annoying with all the sounds and explanations. When you scan a code in the book to see the actual prices of items, forget about getting this info, ridiculous. Thank you for your reaction and I can understand your point of view, however it would be OK if I could scan the codes via my normal bol app to see the actual prices, which doesn't work. And this is an important factor.

Hi, dank voor de review. Jammer dat de app niet bevalt. De reden dat er geen prijzen in staan is omdat de app ontwikkeld is voor jonge kinderen, die kunnen een verlanglijstje maken en een ouder of de sint ;-) kan vervolgens keuze maken m.b.t. prijzen/cadeau's. In de app kun je naast video's bekijken, ook quizjes maken, stickers verdienen.

Downloaded it, and as soon as I got to play it, it was very dissapointing. I was stuck on the first screen. And also, the app took really long to download. It cost 10 minutes for a 160mb app. Dissapointed.

Installed it on two phones, QR scanner does not work. Tried it on different lighting levels, angles, distances and upside down left or right. Good idea, but disappointing end result.
