All in all this app does not only perform poorly, it completely ruins an expensive product which in itself is actually great. The speaker (soundtouch 20) is awesome, but this app fully ruins the experience. Unstable, no memory of the usage of shuffle/repeat buttons, random loss of connection, speaker display refusing to show clock (resulting in the need for a full reset). Features are missing like using the speaker as an alarm and no connection to Google assistant (<10€ lamp can even do this).

I miss a cinema mode for when I want to use my soundtouch 10 for watching movies. Right now, voices are dim and important sound in the background is suppressed, probably as background noise. Has probably to do with hardware and software of my bose itself, but it would be great if there was a way to turn certain settings for cinema mode on/off inside the app if it existed. But overall great, although album cover and song info are often lagging behind the songs.

I have no idea what Bose was thinking creating this app or their soundbar. All devices in its vicinity have never disconnected from my wifi network, the soundbar does once per month. The app refuses to get them reconnected, troubleshooting is garbage. The subwoofer is its own mystery - which designer thought it was a great idea to have a binary led indicator reflect its status? It randomly disconnected and never reconnected since. Did it die? There's simply no telling. Switching brands.
