I've had my cameras for 2 - 3 years now. At first everything was absolutely fine. Everything worked. Recently though, after an update I assume, 2 of 3 of my cameras won't connect when attempted to view live, and now they no longer record video when capturing movement. Even though it says a setting to record a 10s clip. There's even a little "play" button next to the notification of movement. But when selected, it tells me "no video recorded" Update desperately needed.

this has been a great experience, I set up multiple cameras in my office, they reconnect automatically if the internet goes out. there seems to be some issue recalling the recorded video with VPN, but I also bought these 2TB SD card knock offs and they have formatting issues with the computer and mobile phone so I can surmise it's the same issue with the ones I loaded in the camera. they do have a recording service option which is very affordable if you want to skip the SD card and do the cloud

Update to my review after the latest app update: I'm no longer getting notifications!!! I adjusted sensitivity, set times, set humanoid but nothing!! Setting humanoid area is confusing. Not sure whether orange is off or on. The setup was easy and the instructions were pretty good. Action to move the camera from side to side is opposite to what is intuitive. Overall a great experience. However, not having the notifications is awful.
