Good puzzles (endgames). I wonder if it could be possible reset each game after checkmate, breakdown each step (for slow learners). Also, the chessboard could be marked, making easier locate each square (in case the player wants to take notes). Again, just to learn a little bit more and enjoy more games.

Definitly a fun way to improve your end game and see solutions that aren't always apparent, however, I marked it down one star because some of the puzzles are dependent on the computer making a less than ideal move in response to your move(s), rather than allowing you to finding a move (sometimes intentionally impossible) that forces the opponent into checkmate.

I learned chess as a child and really enjoyed playing, but have been 15 years without playing because I lost confidence and didn't want to lose every time! This app is reintroducing me too the theory and I hope to regain the confidence to play friends again one day. In training mode there is no consequence to undo a move, so it is a fun and a low pressure learning environment!
