This is a great little game! The story is very simple but fun enough, what's more impressive is the design of the cards and the feel you get that the world these creatures make up has a certain logic to it. The cards have a lot of different abilities that usually click together very well. The game encourages trial and error and there are usually several ways to complete a level which is also a plus for me. At first, I didn't find the post-game very interesting which was disappointing because I was really addicted to the story mode. The draft mode is growing on me though :)

Thanks for the detailed review. A lot of people think that campaign is the game. For me, it's just a way to teach the rules in a controlled environment. The campaign ends when I feel confident that players can get through the draft on their own. But not everyone is willing to make a transition.
I'm glad you decided to stick to it.

Lovely little game and not to hard to learn. Almost no ads in between gaming and you don't have to wait to regenerate lives to play new levels. The campaign is a bit short. Levels have a decent challange, meaning they are not unbeatable but also don't make it to easy to become dull. Also love the art style

Gameplay-wise it's fairly simple but can be complex in some areas. At it's core it's primarily a puzzle game with very basic strategic and some luck elements. I haven't come across any ads so far which is amazing! However, this game feels childish in it's current state so it's definitely need more improvement and further updates. E.g. I'd like to see players earning bringing in their own characters to clear stages and actually make it more of the 'RPG' the store tag claims. Will pass on this.

Hi, thanks for the thought-out review.
It seems that the algorithm has assigned us the "rpg" tag. I certainly don't think that the game has anything to do with RPG whatsoever.
