As of 2024 cloud gaming over 4G carrier is better, however I have to force the app to use my specific region to get good results. The default region (closest to you) often doesn't give the best gaming results. Good selection of games and great functionality. Though needs full (or stretched) screen size ability, current screen size is bonkers, except in Samsung DEX, there it is fullscreen.

Performance has improved dramatically, well done Microsoft! App is much nicer to use now :) I still think the quests should be presented better though. Active quests seems to only show the ones you have some progress in, but that means to see all available quests you still need to go to daily weekly and monthly. Would be much nicer to just see one big list, preferably with their expiry date.

I love xbox game pass!!! But this app is a hit or mis. Loads really slow. Download to console works, sometimes. with no indication as what went wrong when it doesn't work. Interaction with UI elements is also slow. I have a pixel 3 so my device is not that old that it would be acceptable. I also never get the daily login quest without force quiting the app first. But there are also a lot of great functionalities packed in to it like cloud gaming and great discoverability of games.
