Probably the worst in the series so far, there is a clear focus on heroes to an insane degree. Special abilities dominate the game causing it be more of a hero simulator rather than a tower defense. This game is very clearly made as a DLC skeleton. I'm halfway in and I'm already losing interest. Enemies also arent particualry interesting. The first game had an amazing balance of enemies: swarmers, runners, armoured and anti-magic. Meaning all towers types were useful.

Hello there! Kingdom Rush Vengeance brings a nice fresh experience to the standard KD TD games. The enemies are interesting and feel unique (mostly), and so are the towers. The levels and challenges are very creative and fun to try and beat. However, 40+ euro's for all the content on mobile is greedy beyond belief. The tactical necessity of these premium towers/heroes for certain levels make it all the more vile. (And I 100% the whole game on veteran +iron/heroic) Sincerely, An ambivalent gamer

I bought this game for 5 bucks, then I find out I still have to pay more for extra heroes and towers. That's not right. I liked the game mechanics of the other games more, where you would have 4 towers that each could become 2 different towers. That meant you could have potentially up to 8 different towers on the battlefield which is more fun to strategize with. Now you're stuck with a maximum of 5 different towers on the battlefield. Also the upgrade tree is not as strong as the previous games
