With the ads currently being broken, it's painfully clear how much of a drag the game is without their boosts to production. It takes ages to get anywhere, arbitrary blockages to production not included, and once you're there you reset and face a new pair of arbitrary parameters. You could do one of the abundant events, but they're just the base game with a different skin.

Progress slows to a crawl repeatedly especially during events because you don't have the required cards to automate and you either have to wait for new free chests or non-idle i.e. click every few seconds. Not saying it's definitive proof but sure feels like the devs want you to buy in order to advance in the game, so I uninstalled. I have other things to do with my time.

LOVE the art, but gameplay made me lose my interest. To conclude: 1. Investing in the town feels useless because you'll have to restart your town over and over again. 2. Upgrading buildings doesn't seem to do much else other than upgrade it's yield. No new look. Kinda boring. 3. Upgrading buildings requires a lot of scrolling over your town. 4. Town doesn't really feel alive. No citizens, just stores. And transport. 5. So many interesting looking characters, but I don't get to know any of them.
