Systematic and streamlined presentation, starting with levels for beginners and amateurs, helping players to hone their skills in the game, at their own pace of learning (as a single player). Has good enough board visibility with clarity of positions, guides and hints. One can learn intricate and advanced rules of the game as one moves to higher skill levels.

Excellent graphics. The backspace button is a great option. Not only for correcting bad moves but is also very helpful for learning the opponents strategy. The one problem I consistently have with this game is that "I am unable to use my capable defending pieces to take the opponent when placed in check." It will not allow my king or queen to defend against this attack. I find it unsportsmanlike, aggravating and extremely frustrating. It is unfair play to force concede and cheating.

Wonderful. The suggestion key is great. Always devises moves for eventual win. Good to learn right strategy. Wish there was a version for ipad too. Or did i miss it? After recent (Aug) updation, the screen gets frozen. This bug needs attention. Wish there was a method to record the moves for later review as we can not go back once the game ends checkmated.
