How to Play Call Break Classic:
๐ Objective: The objective of Call Break Classic is to win as many tricks as possible in each round. A trick is won by playing the highest-ranking card of the led suit or the highest-ranking trump card.
๐ Card Rankings: The cards are ranked from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The trump suit ranks higher than any card in other suits.
๐ Number of Players: Call Break Classic can be played with 4 players, with each player sitting opposite to their partner.
๐ Dealing: The dealer shuffles the deck and deals 13 cards to each player in a clockwise direction.
๐ Bidding: Before each round, players bid the number of tricks they believe they can win. A bid represents the number of tricks a player aims to win in that round. Players bid a number between 0 and 8.
The total sum of bids from all players must be equal to the total number of tricks available in the round, which is 13.
The player who won the bid starts the round by leading a card. Players must follow suit if they have a card of the led suit. If they don't have a card of the led suit, they can play any card, including a trump card. The player who played the highest-ranking card of the led suit or the highest-ranking trump card wins the trick. The winner of the trick leads the next one.
Scoring: At the end of each round, players' scores are updated based on their bids and the number of tricks they won. If a player wins the number of tricks they bid, they score points equal to their bid. If a player wins more tricks than their bid, they score points equal to their bid plus the number of extra tricks won. If a player wins fewer tricks than their bid, they receive a penalty equal to their bid.
Game Continuation: The game continues for several rounds until a pre-determined score or number of rounds is reached. The player or team with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner.
Now that you know the rules, it's time to gather your friends or join online opponents and enjoy the excitement of Call Break Classic! Good luck and have fun mastering the trump cards and conquering the table!
