About this game

This is a little-known but fun game of patience. It's a challenging game, hard to win.

The name of the game is Calculation or Four Kings.

Game rules:

Unlike normal games of patience, suits and colors do not matter. Only the numbers of the cards are considered.

The game starts with 4 higher stacks, with the cards: A, 2, 3 and 4.

The A stack climbs in a 1: 1 sequence:
A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K

The stack of 2 rises in sequence of 2 in 2:
2 4 6 8 10 Q A 3 5 7 9 J K

The stack of 3 rises in sequence of 3 in 3:
3 6 9 Q 2 5 8 J A 4 7 10 K

The stack of 4 rises in sequence of 4 in 4:
4 8 Q 3 7 J 2 6 10 A 5 9 K

In the middle of the tray are 4 to 6 work stacks, depending on the difficulty selected.

The cards can be placed in the work stacks in any order and independent of the suits. Only the last card of each stack can be removed and it can not go to other work stacks, it can only be climbed to one of the final stacks. The cards below her are blocked.

The strategy of the game is to plan the assembly of the work stacks so that no required cards are blocked. Ideally, you should mount the batteries in the order in which the cards will be raised to the final stacks.

A common strategy is to put the kings in a separate work pile, since they will be the last cards to be raised. Under the kings, the last cards of each stack can be placed in reverse order, even interspersed with other kings. For example, the stack could have the following letters:

K 9 K Q J 5 A

At the end of the game, A and 5 would move up in the fourth stack, J, Q and K would rise in the first stack, and 9 and K would climb the fourth stack.

Sounds difficult, because it's really difficult :-)
