I have used Remitly for 2+ years and it is easy and quick so I stayed. Lately transactions are delayed and all you have is a chat line and no number to actually call. The reason is always the 'partners'. if they are delaying transactions for whatever reasons shouldn't Remitly look for more reliable ones? My transaction is pending day 2 and I am told first it's on hold then, the partner is still processing..these come off as lies. Fix your system/process or it's starting to sound like a scam!! updated: The number you mention on the page is 'unreachable' never rings. immediately i chatted the second time with customer service, they apparently sent an email to the 'partner' and no sooner had I left the chat, than the transaction was processed. This is so wrong! Clearly your partners are 'sitting' on these transactions for whatever reasons!

My experience started fine. I've been using remitly for a few months now. Then they added interac which was wonderful... But now every time I send it gets delayed because they want more and more personal information. This is now more trouble than it's worth. This last time I spent 15 minutes on hold just to be told to go to the app that made me call in the first place. What a *ucking waste of time!!!!! One more delay like this and I'll switch to one of the others. I might anyway.

The good news is they seem to be reliable, not the cheapest, but they seem real and it works. The bad news is they don't seem set up for your ID having an address different than the billing address on your debit card. That triggered a security concern that was unresolvable because what they wanted was then for me to send in copies of my banking statements which is NOT going to happen. I trust them to a point but I do not trust them with that level of information, it's unnecessary. So I deleted.
