Shortcut for Google Sound Sear

It works but takes up the entire screen of your phone. It would've been better if we could run it through the notification bar of our phones without having to open the app for this little feature. Hopefully, it would be fixed in the next update and then I would up my rating from 3 to 5. It's not like I don't have options. Flashing custom ROM's would do this for me automatically while running in background. Yup, it's a built-in feature in the Google Pixel 3+ smartphones and Pixel Experience ROM.

Excellent app; saved me. As reported, apparently the original native Google Sound Search widget (white note on blue icon) was removed from the Google app. I was not aware of this until later. I found out after trying to add a new widget but couldn't find it listed under available Google widgets. Strange, because the original Sound Search I had dropped to the home screen was still there and functional after it was removed from the Google app. I deleted the original shortcut and can't get it back.

The app works but it takes up the entire screen while trying to identify the music and displays the results the same way. Please make it do that stuff in the background, and put the result as a pop up notification, with buttons to listen on various music apps, and maybe an 'i' button which on tapping would open the song details full screen.
