Decent overall (showed us new places), but definitely buggy, cut out too early in some cases and needs to be improved for overlaying or something with existing mapping apps (Waze, Google Maps). Using the maps in the shaka guide is awful - the direction is never pointing the right way and you can't customize which direction to point the map (the only two options you have are direction of travel, which is wrong, and north up, which is dizzying during the turns). I wish they added more time info

The Classic Road to Hana is an undeniable must-have for those taking the journey for the first time. The guide (whose name I couldn't remember or find) was intimately knowledgeable of every important detail and turn, from respecting local norms (please let locals pass) to what spots on the drive are there and likely open. Thank you!

The first download failed. It downloaded but didn't work. It kept trying to open Google Play store, not paying music, freezing constantly and just plain ol sucked. When we got to Hana, I deleted the app reinstalled everything at it worked better but still kept trying to open Google play store. It took a ton of app/phone management and screwed up our trip. Don't depend on the app, make your own itinerary and download the area on Google maps to navigate everything.
