ORB-19 Racing

ORB-19 is a motor-racing-themed watch displaying the Orburis Racing Team’s colours and features animated engine camshaft effects.

Note: Items in the description annotated with a ‘*’ have further details in the ‘Functionality Notes’ section.

Colour options:
There are 80 colour combinations – ten colours for the time display and eight background shades. These items can be independently changed via the ‘Customise’ option, available by long-pressing the watch face.

The watch face features a ‘twin-cam’ animation with three spinning drive wheels when the watch is in active mode, a carbon fibre-look racing dashboard which displays the time and key information fields, and a second hand in the form of of a race-car lapping the periphery of the face.

Data displayed is as follows:
• Time (12h & 24h formats)
• Date (Day-of-week, Day-of-month, Month)
• User-configurable information window, suitable for displaying items such as weather or sunrise/sunset times.
• Battery charge level percentage and LED bar graph
• Steps goal percentage and LED bar graph
• Step-calorie count*
• Step count
• Distance travelled (miles/km)*
• Time zone
• Heart rate (5 zones)
◦ <60 bpm, blue zone
◦ 60-99 bpm, green zone
◦ 100-139 bpm, white zone
◦ 140-169 bpm, yellow zone
◦ >170bpm, red zone

Always on Display:
- An always-on display ensures that key data is always displayed.
- Currently selected active time colour is displayed on the AOD face, suitably dimmed to preserve battery life.

One pre-defined app shortcut (see images in the store):
- Battery Status

Four user-configurable shortcuts, signified by dot ‘…’ markers around the periphery of the face.

One further user-configurable app shortcut suitable for the user’s preferred health app (see images).

Multilingual support for day-of-the-week and month fields:

*Functionality Notes:
- Step Goal: For Wear OS 4.x or later devices, the step goal is sync’d with the wearer’s preffered health app. For earlier versions of Wear OS, step goal is fixed at 6,000 steps.
- Distance Travelled: Distance is approximated as: 1km = 1312 steps, 1 mile = 2100 steps.
- Distance Units: Displays miles when the locale is set to en_GB or en_US, otherwise km.

What’s new in this version?
1. Included a workaround to display the font correctly on some Wear OS 4 watch devices.
2. Changed the step goal to sync with the health-app on Wear OS 4 watches. (See functionality notes).
3. Removed ‘Measure Heart Rate’ button (not supported)
4. Updated colour stripes to Orburis Racing’s new colours.
5. A few minor visual tweaks

Note that a 'companion app' is also available for you phone/tablet - this is only provided to facilitate installation of the watchface on your watch device.
