Excellent app providing all the data and accuracy that I want! However, it has long been slow as molasses and riddled with bugs. I've been hobbling along with 1-2 forced restarts per day on my Note 8 for a year or so (nothing else gave me the combination of data and UI that I wanted), but now it won't even load the charts after 5-6 resets. Weather Underground you were hands down the best weather app out there! I'll gladly re-subscribe for a fee again when you've come back to the table.

TLDR in layman's term: you have messed it up (and trust me, I have a less polite word in mind). KTHXBYE. I feel very sad writing this review, as I was using weather underground services for over 10 years, even contributing data from my weather station. So, when I started using smartphone, I was happy to see weather underground provides all functionality I've deemed necessary (contrary to the other apps I have been checking back then). With the focus on reasonable weather widget. Before the recent redesign it was an app almost like bespoke for me. It had occasional hiccups, but generally it had worked. Redesign of the app itself is something which happens here and there. There are always people who enjoy the changes, and ones who hates them. The app itself was not something I was using very often. I do not like the changes inside, but eventually I would become accustomed to new UI. One of the features I was using (smart forecast) become premium. Oh, well, I can deal with that - one of the alternatives I am considering as replacement is a paid app, so fee or subscription is not a problem for a worthy app. However, I have no idea, if my previous settings for smart forecast are available or I need to set up them again. So, it seems I need to pay just to check if I am happy about it. Thank you but no thank you. Now we are getting to the point. Widget. The weather widget with reasonable amount of data is the feature I am looking for in weather app. Your old widget had enough data to keep me happy without cluttering the small amount of space, with more data available for just a tap of the finger. After update there is no widget for a foreseeable future. There is no reason for me to further use this app. And last but not least - I have totally missed overtake of WU by IBM few years ago. If not the IBM logo I would be still be ignorant about this. But now, knowing you are an IBM's subsidiary, I have another negative item on my pros/cons list. And the way you have introduced a change - without any concern for users, any rationale plan of keeping the functionality - only confirms my overall poor opinion about your mothership company. So, to summarize. Thank you for over 10 years of the service. But right now this app is going to be uninstalled from my device. Please pass my lack of respect to your business and marketing team.

There are several features of this app that are superior. Temperature vs. Time graphs, radar with storm and front tracking, wind predictions, etc, all organized in an easy to view format. However, as of late, the radar will not load. It loads with a picture of 6 hours ago, and current picture. Efforts to restart the app or my phone don't seem to help. I do have both adequate wifi and cell service.
