Xiaomi Home

Extremely unreliable. It started with notifications being very spotty and has since escalated to simply refusing to grab the camera feed. It's nice to be able to look through your camera from anywhere, but this also means all traffic seems to be going through Xiaomi servers, even when you're at home on the same network. This thing desperately needs a direct Wifi connection instead of solely relying on external services for it to work.

Constantly asking for permissions which are not needed to run my lightbulb. Does it even when the app isn't closed and brought to the foreground. I read other reviews which reported that my Philips Xiaomi light is no longer supported in the newest version (region issue). I have to stick with the current version. Update. I accidently upgraded the app and now I can't use it for the light bulb. I was thinking of buying a xiaomi phone but will never look at their products again.

Looks beautiful. Themes could have been more thoughtfully designed especially in dark more where they look out of place.. The largest problem with this app is that for some sensors it does not work with and you need to change region to China first, but doing so you need to set up everything all over again!! Please fix so that the list of discoverable devices is the same for all regions!!
