Yoto: Music, Stories, Sleep

The app is very good and intuitive. The connection is a bit clumsy but once connected you're good to go (TIP: set up the Yoto box beforehand if giving it as a present to your child 😉). There is a slight issue with reconnecting to the Yoto box the following day. Seems to take long time, hence why 1 star less.

After hearing raving reviews about the Yoto, we bought one. Setting up the Yoto through this Android app was not only a nightmare, but IMPOSSIBLE. It did not want to connect to our Internet, despite using all of the suggestions they provide about not using special characters, the type of connection to use, etc. We even looked up suggestions on Google after nothing was working. Finally we used an iPad we had and it worked flawlessly the first time. FIX THE ANDROID APP PLEASE

Required online connectivity ruins the experience. All too often on a long road trip, we can't play the story we would like because the device must be online. So ultimately this is a bit of a let down.
