The app itself works fine. The books can be expensive. Most are by newer authors. So there are typos, words used incorrectly, punctuation issues, etc. Remember they don't have paid editing. The author does all that themselves. If this is an issue for you, it's best to just not read material on these types of apps. Most of the books I've read have been good. Some are available on other apps or sources. You might want to check around before you drop your hard earned coins on the book.

I tried the subscription service which said $0.99 the first week, $10/month & I could cancel @ any time. I tried it, the book I chose was SO BADLY written & edited that I had a very hard time following the story. I cancelled the same day. I don't mind the first $0.99 fee, but they also took the full $10 fee the following week $ tried taking $ from me again. What they didn't reveal was that it would take 30 days for the cancelation to complete, which I assume is their way of stealing from folk

The only reason why I even gave a 2 was my favorite author has some books on this app, or I would have given a 1 since you can't give a zero. The app is expensive and requires 5 hours of reading that equals 1 chapter. It originally gave more points for the reading them lowered it, and raised how many points for the chapters pretty much forcing you to buy if it's a really good book. The app sometimes glitches, and they are reluctant to give back the proper reward.
