This free resource makes it easy to keep track of what you see, while making your data openly available for scientific research, education, and conservation. eBird Mobile is the only app that passes information directly from the Android device to your eBird account on the web.

The new update is very buggy. I hadn't updated in a while and when I finally did, multiple features are not working. 1) Attempting to load submitted checklists causes the app to crash. 2) When starting a list from a previous date, there is no way to create a new location- only my current location appears. I haven't used the rest of the app yet, but those two features are the only things I've attempted so far and neither have worked. Please fix, I was planning on using the app for yearlisting!

Fantastic, my only wish is to be able to add multiple location tags and multiple species tags along a route. That way if I'm on a bus or some such, I can note a pair of x bird at y location, and a different flock of x bird at z location. By no means necessary, but would be a nice quality of life feature, and add some specificity to the data for the people at Cornell

The app looks like it could be useful, but it's an exercise in frustration to even open it as j just get peppered with warning and pop ups trying to explain stuff that are about of context for what a new user experiences when they are trying to figure out the app. I shut it down and unlinked it from Merlin in pure frustration. Why Merlin sent me to this app, I have no clue, as I can see zero added value at present. I'm sure it has value, but what that might be is a mystery.
