With the HSL app you can buy tickets for Helsinki region public transport, find the best routes and get targeted traffic information. In the HSL app you will find e.g. single, day and season tickets for both adults and children. Bus, train, metro, tram and ferry – all with the same app. You can pay easily e.g. with a payment card.
In addition to tickets, there is also a journey planner in the HSL app. Journey planner tells you e.g. the best route and the ticket, which is needed for the route. In the HSL app, you can also see up-to-date transport information for the areas and lines you have selected.

Frustrating experience. Tried to register and had to enter my country of residence, the Netherlands (for the phone number), but the list goes blank and never shows the second half of the list of countries. However I tried to buy a ticket and on this dialog I could enter the country without problems, so got it working. Hope the rest goes smoother. (Samsung S10)

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the bug in onboarding phase. If this happens I recommend deleting and reinstall. Then proceeding directly to "purchase" without actually buying which brings the contact info query. One can also skip the HSL ID by leaving lowest "Password (optional)" fields completely empty. Feature ideas. You can now add home trip. What if you could add route. Many times traveller checks same route and now it's slow. Select from and where. What if just having Route where I can type my naming and save start and end. From one i icon i can get instantly route trains. Even better custom edit on what app parts there can be in the main view. You can add route list start to end. Like section. Helsinki to riihimäki as one app view and bavk another. Set on what part app starts. Like ticket.

I can't even purchase my season ticket 1 day before the actual travel dates. Tried 3 different methods, money is deducted from the bank but the app stops working and goes back to main screen without any valid tickets showing. I'm waiting for money to return to the bank. If it won't happen, I'll contact for refund. Really laggy app that is forced to use. With all the bad reviews, still, it doesn't change for years.
