BlackNote Notepad Notes

to be frank, the fact that my phone doesn't have a stock note taking app is obnoxious. i have used this app for more than 4 years. it's very limited and has been long overdue for any new features, but it's also simple and functional. this app has been ad free for years. the latest update added obtrusive banner ads. I get it. people gotta make ends meet. but $10 to remove adds is way too much. time to find a new app.

This app is great, but I'm REALLY upset because i accidentally switched to some sort of backup, wayyy back in July this year. Now that it is September, I definitely lost some notes. I'm not happy about this incident, but they are just notes I guess. Please add an undo button, or whatever, so whenever you'd switch to a backup/restore, it would automatically create a backup of your CURRENT data! Please and thank you! I'm looking for another note app so this doesn't happen again.

Had this on many devices and it is by far my favorite notes app. Not a lot of apps like these even offer the possiblity for a darker user interface but I find it to be much less overwhelming than looking at a bright white blank page. There are however a lot of new banner ads, that I most likely wouldn't resent so much if they werent bright white on an app that I use specifically for the dark, calm UI and less distracting format. I have updated this review from 5 to 4 ⭐. Still love you guys
