One star for a well-designed app -- that's the maximum rating I will give. For the higher-level AI opponents, there is a clear-cut bias in terms of their getting favorable cards. Do NOT believe the app developers' denials on this issue. There are far better (read: fairer) apps for gin rummy in the play store.

All our app use a standard mathematical LCR RNG for all dice throws and card deals. Why would we cheat for such a simple game? If we intended to cheat we would let the player win! Many programs are accused of cheating. Do they all cheat? ..Much more likely none do!

The three AI players at the top are so "lucky" now that I hardly stand a chance against them no matter how well I play. Something has changed. The developer says play is random, but how is that true when each AI player offers a more difficult game and "skill level?" I've been playing this game for a long time & the change in my chance of winning is noticeable. It's no fun to play any more because I consistently lose to the top players. Before I had more of a 50/50 chance.

We apologise for your frustration but nothing has changed in this app. All our apps play fair and all deals in this app are completely random. Random deals mean that either side can have lucky streaks. Cpu players have different skill levels because they use different levels of strategies including probability and inference from cards played.

EDIT: Had to edit my review. Original below. After playing this and using it to learn the game I know play only the top three AI. I've learned that these players don't just use logic and tactics but the deck is stacked against you. It's like sometimes they know what you have without ever seeing the card. Awesome game, I learned via reading two paragraphs then just playing with the app. Sort button is key. I like how the cards have a beige tinge, nice touch. Do mahogany wood background next :)

Thank you for your review. We assure you that the deck is not stacked against you. All deals are completely random and cpu players have no idea what cards are going to be dealt or what is in your hand except by probability and inference from cards played.
