He was going to beguile her. It didn’t quite work. Marrying an heiress to save your estate was not uncommon and Malcolm had been informed by his father that he was to do that very thing. It was simple Malcolm would enchant Rosamond the way he did other women, marry her, get her dowry to save his family and send her to a country estate to live. Unfortunately, she was far from beguiled. Then when Malcolm’s sister suddenly reappears on the scene, everything is thrown into turmoil. Very enjoyable.
