Om denne lydbog

In the 19th century, a school of thought and philosophy arose in the United States that was so powerful it changed the landscapes of religion, health and prosperity. The effects of the New Thought movement continue today and can be seen in how we now view our relationship with God, the universe, and ourselves. The New Thought movement has been termed a spiritual or metaphysical movement and a philosophical movement. It is the science of the mind teaching us how to use, will power, intent, affirmations, and visualization in order to manifest our visions in our lives today.

Florence Scovel Shinn was a major influence and teacher in the New Thought movement. Shinn writes, "A successful man is always asked--"What is the secret of your success?" People never ask a man who is a failure, "What is the secret of your failure?" It is quite easy to see, and they are not interested. People all want to know how to open the secret door of success."

Shinn teaches us why some people are successful, some have their prayers answered, and why some fail. She teaches us the techniques we need to be successful and discusses how we can bring our visions and prayers into existence so we may live a life in a state of health and prosperity.
