Gabby and Mischelle are best friends. Mischelle is despondent, unable to get over the hurt and betrayal of finding out her husband cheated on her with a younger woman—and even worse, he walked out on her and their children. Noelle Vella began writing at the early age of eleven, and her first published work was in the school newspaper, where she wrote about some of the challenges in her life. She continued to write many short stories in college, and recently completed her first novel, A Weekend Affair, partially based on her own experiences. Vella is hard at work on her next novel. During her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family.
