I liked Pet in Moon Duel and was happy to hear more of her story. I enjoyed her interactions with her British assessor, Tristan, who was sent to determine whether she is fit to lead her pack. I also enjoyed how they solve the mystery of why Pet’s father, the current pack alpha, has fallen ill. And I laughed at all of the chapter titles, which consist of strange British idioms. The narration was great. If you like contemporary fantasies, shifter stories, and clean romances, you might enjoy this.
