Less than stellar prose. "I did this. I did that. I opened this. I crossed that. I wrote this. I felt that". (Honestly... Read it or listen to it as an audio book and try and get more than 10% in without grinding your teeth as the 400th short sentence in a row starts with "I". The twist was like a herd of elephants coming over the hill, too. Not recommended.

such a fantastic book...I really enjoyed it ..so well researched..written and thought out ...I would be amazed if anyone wasn't instantly engrossed...such a thought provoking journey
About the author
Alex Michaelides was born and raised in Cyprus. He has an MA in English Literature from Trinity College, Cambridge University, and an MA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. The Silent Patient was his first novel, and was the biggest selling debut in the world in 2019. It spent over a year on the New York Times bestseller list and sold in a record-breaking 50 countries. Alex lives in London.
